  1. “I wrote this poem for one of my grandchildren.”
It’s nice to see that love and family are still alive

  2. Thanks for the comment. I am a family oriented person. Raised with five brothers and now I have at least sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. I promise each one a car if they go to college. I also have two god children. They have both graduated from college. They are boy girl twins. The boy is waiting to join an NFL football team for training.

    1.
a feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one’s own achievements, the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired “.

Based on that why is pride considered to be one of the seven deadly sins ?
Why is it a bad thing for humans to feel good about the good things they accomplish in life ?
Personally I think it’s because Satan wants humans to be ashamed of the good things to do so that they will not do good things.

  4. Sin and the Devil are both religious ideas. I don’t practice either as I am an atheist. I called the poem pride to make it simple for my grandson, for whom it was written, He understood it well. But thanks for your comment.
